Common conditions that could lower lactobacilli include use of antibiotics, chemical irritants in douches, or use of feminine-hygiene products.

Lactobacillus Acidophilus
Lactobacilli are bacteria that normally live in the human small intestine and vagina. Having large quantities of these �friendly flora� keeps this region moderately acidic. This acidic environment forms a protective barrier against harmful bacteria, fungi and other pathogens. This acidic barrier is also critical in preventing destructive bacteria from reaching and infecting the fallopian tubes and ovaries. A bacterial infection in these areas can lead to infertility. Finally, Acidophilus actively suppress both pathogenic bacteria and candida albicans.

Neem Bark Extract
Neem is anti fungal, antiviral and antibacterial. Although it can destroy these, it does not kill off beneficial intestinal flora nor produce adverse side effects. Neem is effective against several fungi that attack humans, including candida, which cause yeast infections and thrush.

Because neem contains antibacterial properties, it is highly effective in treating skin conditions such as acne, psoriasis and eczema.
