About Hypothyroidism -Hypothyroidism is often referred to as an Under Active Thyroid.
We
know that the vast majority of cases of hypothyroidism, 95% or more,
are caused by a problem within the thyroid gland. A much smaller number
of cases, 5% or less are caused by a problem in the brain or pituitary
gland, a small gland located beneath the brain.
In many cases there are mild or no symptoms associated with Hypothyroidism, however
the following may be indicators of Hypothyroidism and should not
be ignored. (Have you or a loved one had one or more of the following Hypothyroidism symptoms?): * Weight gain or increased difficulty losing weight * Weakness * Muscle cramps and frequent muscle aches * Depression * Irritability
Don't let your Hypothyroidism go unchecked. Try Hypothyrex and seek
professional advice if you have or you think you may have Hypothyroidism.

How Hypothyrex Works?
People
with hypothyroidism have lower-than-normal or no thyroid function and
do not make enough thyroid hormone for the body to function properly.
Hypothyrex can help by supplying your thyroid and body with the
essential nutrients needed to help stimulate your thyroid gland to
increase the production of the TS4 hormone on it's own. Hypothyrex
doesn't just treat the symptoms it helps your body address the root
cause of the problem.
What is in Hypothyrex?
Hypothyrex is formulated using only the finest certified organic herbal extracts
available and quality vitamins and minerals. Hypothyrex contains 750 mg of thyroid invigorating ingredients.
Note:
Beware of companies selling Hypothyroidism products that contain
excessive amounts of Iodine containing seaweeds such as Bladderwack,
Irish Moss and Kelp. Always read the ingredients list and insist on
knowing the total Iodine content and other potentially dangerous
compounds. We have even seen products containing one or more of the
following (cabbage, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, and cauliflower), that
contain natural goitrogens that may interfere with thyroid hormone
synthesis and should never be consumed if you have hypothyroidism.
L-tyrosine - L-tyrosine is a precursor to thyroid hormone and can help boost levels in the body.
Coleus forskohlii - Forskolin has demonstrated the ability to increase thyroid hormone
production and stimulate thyroid hormone release. In vitro (studies
done in the lab) studies show that coleus stimulates fat metabolism.
Researchers have found that many obese people have lower than normal
Cyclic AMP production. Because of these considerations, coleus can act
as weight loss agent, especially for those with reduced Cyclic AMP
production.
Kelp (100 mcg/day iodine equivalent) - Kelp
is a natural source of the essential element iodine which is required
for proper thyroid function. The Kelp in Hypothyrex yields
approximately 100 mcg/day iodine.
Caution:
Many products on the market containing Kelp, Bladderwack or Irish Moss
contain many times more iodine and can actually cause hypothyroidism!
You should not take any product containing the above without knowing
its iodine content. Any amount over 100 mcg/day iodine should only be
used under very close supervision of a medical doctor after testing for
iodine levels in the blood or thyroxine (T4) test.
It
is important not to over-consume iodine as it has a relatively narrow
range of intake that reliably support good thyroid function (about 100
to 300 micrograms per day), including what you get from your normal
diet. Consuming large amounts of iodized salt or seaweeds (kelp,
bladderwack, irish moss) could readily overdo it. Excessive iodine has
a complex disruptive effect on the thyroid and may actually cause
hypothyroidism. The addition of 100 mcg/day iodine in the form of a
supplement is widely considered to be the safe amount.
Vitamin B1, B2, B3, B6, B12 - These
vitamins are needed for the synthesis of thyroxine. The B vitamins and
copper are vital co-factors for tyrosine metabolism.
Zinc - Zinc
is needed both before and after conversion of T-4 to T-3 thyroid
hormone. Zinc is necessary for the TRH hypothalamus hormone to
stimulate the pituitary gland, which signals the thyroid gland to
produce thyroid hormone.
Furthermore, zinc is needed at the intracellular level to help the
thyroid nuclear receptors attach and drive the reading of the DNA
genetic code. Realize that the main function of thyroid hormone is to
help put the genetic code into action.
Copper - Copper,
along with selenium and zinc are essential in the production of T3 from
T4 and is key to the synergy of the proprietary blend.
Selenium - Selenium is
crucial in both the production of T-4 thyroid hormone (thyroxine) in
the thyroid gland, as well as in the conversion of T-4 to T-3 thyroid
hormone, the active form (thyronine).
Manganese - Manganese
deficiency can reduce thyroid activity. Manganese is required for
production of the T4 thyroid hormone. Manganese deficiency is very
common today.
Biotin - Biotin
aids in the utilization of protein, folic acid, pantothenic acid, and
vitamin B-12. There is evidence that biotin is essential for the
production of metallothionein, a metal-carrying protein that assists
copper and zinc metabolism and which also protects against cadmium
toxicity and is key to the synergy of the proprietary blend.
Pantothenic Acid - Pantothenic
Acid stimulates tissue regeneration by being part of tissue building
enzymes, and thus helping to restore a degraded thyroid.
Calcium - Calcium
is beneficial to the thyroid but is mostly used to balance the stomach
acid which may be produced by the Coleus forskohlii.
Summation: Even
though each ingredient has specific properties that contribute to the
stimulation and reinvigoration of the thyroid gland, it is the precise
combination of ingredients that make Hypothyrex a success. Suggested use: take one (1) capsule, two (2) times each day, preferably one in the morning and one at bedtime.
