Solutions for Achilles Tendon

Pain Achilles tendonitis is inflammation, irritation and swelling of the Achilles tendon—the large tendon in the back of the ankle. Achilles tendonitis is a common overuse injury that tends to occur in middle-age recreational athletes. The overuse causes inflammation that can lead to pain and swelling. Tendonitis from arthritis is also common in middle aged and elderly populations. Arthritis often causes extra bony growths around joints, and if this occurs around the heel where the soft tissue of the Achilles tendon attaches to the heel bone, the tendon can become inflamed and painful.

Treatment

Apply the Infratonic 8000 transducer to point of pain on the Achilles tendon for 10-20 minutes once daily, or as required for Achilles tendon pain relief. If you sense other areas of discomfort during treatment, apply to the other areas until the discomfort dissipates, then return to the principal point of pain for continued healing.
