Description
 

A sub-micron ceramic pre-filter is added to the Purity UC-12 to filter microorganisms including bacteria 99.99% - Purity UCD-12C is tested and certified by WQA according to NSF/ANSI 42 for the reduction of Aesthetic Chlorine and Taste and Odor

This water purifier uses 100% NSF certified granular activated carbon (GAC) and KDF to remove chlorine over 99% and substantially reduce up to 99% of lead, pesticides, herbicides, VOCs, benzene, while eliminating bad tastes and odors. An amazing 12,000 gallon rating makes this system the most cost effective available today. The ceramic pre-filter filters 99.9% of harmful bacteria, and 100% of cysts including cryptosporidium and Giardia. This filter uses the Doulton Sterasyl Ceramic Candle that provides Filtration efficiency of >99.9% at 0.5 micron, 98% at 0.2 micron. The ceramic filter may be periodically cleaned and will last up to 3 years before needing replacement. The UCD-12C provides crystal clear, pure drinking water while maintaining healthy minerals such as Calcium, Potassium and Magnesium.

System comes complete with a do-it-yourself easy installation kit and a stainless steel faucet spigot; designer faucets are available below. Our installation kit includes a "Ball Valve Assembly" that requires no piercing of your water pipe unlike most other installation kits that use a saddle tap which makes a pin-hole in your water pipe, inviting leaks.
