The Purity UC line is the highest rated under-the-sink system available anywhere. NSF/ANSI Certified to 12,000 gallons. Filters chlorine, cysts and chemical contaminants - Purity UC-12 is tested and certified by WQA according to NSF/ANSI 42 for the reduction of Aesthetic Chlorine and Taste and Odor

This 3-in-1 under-the-counter water filter contains a KDF/GAC filter cartridge made from the highest quality coconut shells for superior contaminant reduction. The Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) reduces or removes chlorine, pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), bad taste and odors from your drinking water while KDF reduces chlorine 99.9%, lead, mercury and other soluble metals. The redox reaction of KDF also inhibits the growth of bacteria, algae, and fungi. NSF-compliant components.

Rated to treat 12,000 gallons (most competitor's treat only 500 to 5,000 gallons). Also has a cyst-rated pre-filter built into the cartridge for 99.9% removal of Cryptosporidium & Giardia. Includes a lead-free chrome faucet spigot, free of charge.
